Robert J. Reimer is a Consulting partner in the Winnipeg office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is also the national leader of the firm's Information Security & Privacy group.
For more than 20 years at PwC, Robert has grown the Canadian technology risk management and information system audit practices. His areas of specialization include the assessment, design and implementation of enterprise information security solutions, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, independent assurance and advisory services on outsourced information systems and technologies, internal audit advisory, technology and information systems risk management and information technology advisory services.
Robert has a BCom from the University of Manitoba. He is a CA, a Certified Information System Auditor, an Information Systems Auditor, an IT professional and an Information Systems, a Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Audit Control Association (ISACA) Certified Information Security Manager.
Robert has been interviewed by and published in national and city newspapers, and technical journals on security, IT and government. In addition, He is a frequent speaker and instructor on information technology, risk management, systems assurance, internal audit, security, and business continuity / disaster recovery issues across Canada and the US. He is also an active member of the CICA Information Technology Advisory Council.
In addition, Robert sits on the United Way's technology and privacy committees in Winnipeg.
