Salvatore (Sal) Bianco is a partner in the Audit and Assurance group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Toronto Metro North office. He specializes in the consumer and industrial products and services industry, with a focus on public companies, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants and large private companies.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Sal provides guidance to his clients on acquisitions and divestitures of individual business units, and helps clients with comment letters from Canadian regulatory bodies and the SEC. He also has significant experience with initial and secondary public offerings, financial due diligence, cross-boarder debt offerings and financial reporting under Canadian, US and IFRS GAAP.
Sal graduated from the University of Toronto with an HBA, and he earned his CA designation in 1998. He received his CPA designation from the Illinois State Board in 1999.
Until 2009, Sal was a member of the Markham-Stouffville Hospital Foundation Ambassadors Committee, which conducts fundraising efforts for the hospital. He was appointed by the mayor of Whitchurch-Stouffville to serve as director of the town’s Economic Development and Downtown Redevelopment Advisory Committees from 2003 to 2006.
