Samir Bishara

Samir is the CFO for the Consulting Line of Service and a Finance Transformation Partner at PwC Canada. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in 1995, joined PwC in 2010 and was admitted to the partnership in 2014.
Samir has a track record of working globally across a variety of industries and sectors, leading large-scale finance transformations, enabled by technology and people. Over the past 25+ years, he has worked with CFOs to design the blueprint of what leading finance organizations should look like and worked hand in hand with their teams as they embark on their transformation journeys. Samir coaches leaders to embrace change as they set-up set-up their Modern Finance capabilities that balance between the finance steward, operator and business performance partner roles.
As CFO and a member of the Consulting Leadership Team, Samir focuses on the operational planning and financial management of the Consulting line of business. Prior to becoming the Consulting CFO, he served as the Finance Transformation for PwC Canada and was a member of the PwC Global Finance Transformation leadership team. He specialized in leading and delivering large complex projects from strategy to execution, performance management, data and analytics, ERP and EPM technologies and optimizing global delivery models.
He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business with a Honors Of Business Administration (1995) and Masters of Business Administration (2002). He is also a Canadian Chartered Accountant (1998).
