Shawn Reain is a Lead Client Partner and the National Leader of the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) and Incentives Business Unit.
In his role, Shawn is in touch with the latest issues facing companies. With more than 30 years of experience, Shawn has a proven track record of working closely with clients and the firm's leaders to bring the full strength of our people and innovative services to the market to address evolving market trends, solve important problems and build trust with clients.
Previously, Shawn has held various other roles including the Canadian Tax Markets Leader, the Compliance Transformed leader and was a member of the Canadian Tax Leadership team. In these roles, he built diverse teams and trusted relationships to help clients navigate change and solve important problems.
Based in Calgary, Shawn has a strong background in tax and operations which aids in providing proficient advice.
Shawn graduated from the University of Waterloo and was admitted into PwC as a Partner in 2005.
