Simon is a Partner in the International Tax Services group at PwC Canada.  He is based in Montreal. 

Throughout his career, Simon has acquired in-depth knowledge of issues affecting small and large-sized Canadian businesses of all sectors seeking to set up foreign operations or to consolidate their expansion outside of Canada. His tax advice is designed to help clients launch or consolidate their foreign operations, in particular through mergers and acquisitions. He helps to develop and implement financing, acquisition and reorganization structures for their foreign subsidiaries. Simon is also well experienced in assisting foreign businesses planning and structuring their operations in Canada, including their financing and tax optimization.

Simon is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF) and of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF). He is also a frequent speaker at various events, including those of the APFF, CTF and TEI.

A lawyer by training, Simon holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Montreal and a Master’s degree in tax from the University of Sherbrooke.
