Status of File as of November 18, 2021

On November 18, 2021, Court Orders were granted terminating the CCAA Proceedings (subject to the Monitor completing certain duties and filing a Certificate with the Court) and appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT as Receiver of Broadacre Agriculture Inc. and Wigmore Farms Ltd. Status of File as of March 29, 2016

A Court Application has been filed to be heard March 29, 2016 to approve recent land sales and direction on other matters.

Status of File as of January 19, 2016

A Court Order was granted on extending the stay up to and including June 30, 2016.

Status of File as of January 12, 2016

A Court Application has been filed to be heard January 19, 2016 to extend the Stay Period to June 30, 2016, provide the monitor with advice and directionon a potential distribution., approving a number of land sales and direction on other matters. Status of File as of November 20, 2015

A Court Order was granted extending the stay up to and including February 19, 2016.

Status of File as of July 29, 2015

A Court Order was granted expanding the Monitor's Powers and extending the stay up to and including December 4, 2015.

Status of File as of June 4, 2015

The Directors of the Company have resigned as of June 3, 2015 which has been reported in the Fifth Report of the Monitor (a copy of this Fifth Report may be accessed on this website under "Monitor's Reports"). The Monitor has requested that the Company in consultation with the Related Parties, who are shareholders, advise as to their intentions on a go-forward basis. The Monitor has offered its assistance in formulating a strategy to deal with the board's resignation. The Monitor will report back to the Court by June 9, 2015.

Status of file as of January 22, 2015

The Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta granted an Order approving the Land Sales, RBA Agreement and KERP.

Status of file as of January 15, 2015

The stay of proceedings has been extended to April 30, 2015.

Status of file as of November 26, 2014

A Claims Procedure Order was granted November 26, 2014. A copy of this Order as well as a copy of the Proof of Claim and Instructions are available on this website. In Order to participate in any Plan of Arrangement any Claim must be received on or before the Claims Bar Date, namely 5:00 pm (Calgary time) on February 27, 2015.

Status of file as of November 4, 2014

The Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta granted an Order on November 4, 2014, providing protection for Broadacre Agriculture Inc. under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (“CCAA”). A stay of proceedings was granted. PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. was named as Monitor in the Order. A copy of the Order is available on this web site.
