On January 20, 2022, an order was granted by the Court approving the Receiver’s activities since the Third Report, the fees and disbursements of the Receiver and its legal counsel, the distribution of remaining funds held in its accounts to ATB, and the discharge of the Receiver.
On January 10, 2022 the Receiver filed its Fourth and Final Report to inform the Court of the Receiver's activities since its Third Report and seek approval of the following:
- Receiver's activities since the Third Report;
- The fees and disbursements of the Receiver and its legal counsel;
- The distribution of remaining funds held in its accounts to ATB; and,
- Discharging the Receiver.

On August 16, 2021, an order was granted by the Court approving the Receiver’s activities since the Second Report, sealing of the Confidential Appendices to the Third Report, approving the Infinityre Proposal, and approving an interim distribution to ATB Financial.

On August 9, 2021, the Receiver filed its Third Report to inform the Court of the Receiver’s activities since the Second Report, seek an order to seal the Confidential Appendices to the Third Report, seek approval of the Infinityre Proposal (as defined in the Third Report), and seek approval for an interim distribution to ATB Financial.

All clinics and assets, including patient lists and records, have now been sold by the Receiver. If you are a former patient looking to obtain your records or make an appointment with the new owner of your records, a contact list has been provided in the Patient Questions & Answers tab of the website.
On September 16, 2020, orders were granted by the Court approving the Receiver’s activities since the First Report, sealing of the Confidential Supplemental to the Second Report, approving a distribution to Concentra Financial Services Association, and approving the sale of the assets of the South Boulevard Clinic, Northside Clinic, and Ellerslie Clinic. On September 8, 2020, the Receiver filed its Second Report to inform the Court of the Receiver’s activities since the First Report, seek a sale approval and vesting order for the sale of the assets of the South Boulevard Clinic, Northside Clinic, and Ellerslie Clinic and seek approval for a e a distribution to Concentra Financial Services Association. On August 31, 2020, orders were granted by the Court approving the Receiver's activities since its appointment, sealing of the Confidential Supplemental to the First Report, increasing the Receiver's Borrowing Limit, and approving the sale of the assets of the Downtown Clinic, WEM Clinic, Terwillegar Clinic, and the Strathcona Clinic. On August 24, 2020, the Receiver filed its First Report to inform the Court of the Receiver’s activities since appointment and to seek a sale approval and vesting order for the sale of the assets of the Downtown Clinic, WEM Clinic, Terwillegar Clinic, and the Strathcona Clinic. The Receiver has not yet selected a successful bid for the Northside Clinic, and has obtained additional information for consideration of prospective purchasers in respect of the leased premises for the Northside Clinic. Prospective purchasers have been notified of this new information, the process to access this information and the extension of the deadline for submission (or resubmission) of offers. The information has also been added to the Receiver’s website under Sales and Marketing Materials.
The Receiver is soliciting offers for certain dental equipment and materials located in 8 dental clinics that operated as Infinity Dental in the greater Edmonton, Alberta area. The leases remain in place for all locations and bidders may submit a “cash and carry” offer or an “in place” offer. The deadline for offers is 5:00 PM (MST) on July 17, 2020.

The Receiver has established a process for access to patient records upon request, in accordance with the Alberta Health Information Act and the Alberta Dental Association & College standards of practice. If you wish to request the release of your patient records, please contact the Receiver’s hotline at +1 780 441 6704 and leave a detailed message. A representative of the Receiver will contact you to arrange the release of your records.
A request to access health information form will be provided to you to complete and a $25 administration fee will be charged to cover the cost of processing the request and must be paid prior to the release of the records. Records will only be released to the patient (or patients legal guardian) by paper copy in person.

On May 21, 2020, a Receivership Order was granted with respect to Infinity Dental South, Omar Nsair Professional Corporation, Hussien Nsair Professional Corporation, and Infinity Dental Ltd. (collectively referred to as “Infinity Group” or the “Company”) by the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT was appointed as Receiver. This impacts Infinity Group dental clinics located at the following addresses (together the “Infinity Dental Clinics”):

Current Status
As a result of this order, the Receiver is taking possession of the assets, property, and undertakings of the Infinity Group, including the Infinity Dental Clinics, and is evaluating its options with respect to continuing to provide services at the Infinity Dental Clinics during the receivership process. As further information becomes available, including if certain Infinity Dental Clinics will be reopened by the Receiver in the interim, it will be provided through the Receiver’s website. The Receiver is also establishing a process for the access to patient records upon request, in accordance with the Alberta Health Information Act and the Alberta Dental Association & College standards of practice, and will publish the process on the Receiver’s website once available.
