On March 28, 2022, the Receiver assigned the Debtor into bankruptcy and PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. was appointed the Trustee of the estate of the Debtor. The first meeting of creditors was held at 2:00 pm Pacific Time on Thursday April 14, 2022. The total realizable value of the assets of the Debtor, are insufficient to repay EDC’s secured loans. As a result, there will be no proceeds available to unsecured creditors.
On October 28, 2021 (the "Filing Date"), Export Development Canada (“EDC”) sought and obtained an Receivership Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia (the “Court”) pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (the “BIA") and the Law and Equity Act, appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. as the Receiver and Manager (in such capacity, the "Receiver"), of all of the assets, undertakings and property of Trident Processes Inc. (the "Debtor").
