Legal Flash: New cap on remuneration subject to social security contributions
According to No. Δ.15/Δ73201 Ministerial Decision (Gov. Gazette Β 410/22.01.2024), significant reforms are introduced retroactively as of 01.01.2024 regarding
1. a new cap on remuneration subject to social security contributions (insurable earnings), and
2. the amount of social security contributions for freelancers and self-employed individuals.
