TOP 50 ESG Disclosure Companies
In compiling this ESG Disclosure Rating (the “Rating”), we reviewed the companies’ annual reports and sustainability reports (including integrated reports, ESG reports, and social reports), referred to as the “Reports.” We evaluate the completeness, quality and availability of ESG information. We assessed how easy we think it would be for stakeholders to find the necessary ESG data.
When compiling the current Rating, we evaluated the Reports prepared by companies based on the results of their activities for 2021. The total sample included 98 companies operating in Kazakhstan. The sample included companies that submitted official applications for participation in the Rating, as well as Reports from the year 2021, which we found in the public domain. Based on the results of the evaluation, a list of the top 50 companies based on the level of ESG disclosure was prepared.
The review describes the key achievements of Kazakhstani companies in the disclosure of ESG information, trends and provides recommendations for further development.
