The Actuarial Services practice at PwC has c. 2000 staff across the world with UK IFoA qualified actuaries located in Malta.

Our actuarial team has deep experience in a range of areas, including:

IFRS 17 and Solvency II advisory and assurance services
Financial and climate risk modelling and reporting
Other assurance services (such as internal audit support)
Actuarial managed service (outsourced actuarial function work)

The role of an Actuary within PwC

At PwC, we are part of an innovative insurance team, using advanced technology to provide clients with insightful financial analysis and support. This not only helps them understand their financial risks but also allows us to work closely with professionals across Malta and international territories.

On a daily basis, our actuarial network advises our clients, both insurance and non-insurance, on solvency cover, reserving, economic capital, risk management, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, the visibility of new products and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes.
