For violation of the terms of stay in Ukraine (e.g. exceeding 90 days term of allowed stay, granted by a visa-free regime or a visa), a fine is imposed while crossing the border.
Failure to comply with the requirement on work permit obtaining is subject to a fine for the employer (Ukrainian host legal entity). In addition, an administrative penalty (up to USD 196) can be imposed on you and the employer’s officials.
Non-compliance with the requirement of obtaining the residence permit or on registration of your place of residence is subject to penalties for both you and Ukrainian employer, as well as potential deportation from Ukraine. Compulsory deportation is obligatory accompanied by a ban on entry to Ukraine for a period of up to 5 years.
If you lose your passport or residence permit – immediately contact police!
If you do not export your foreing car or pay required duties after one year in Ukraine - up to EUR 6,000 (depending on excess period).
If you ship restricted goods or do not declare the goods (when you should do it) the customs authorities will confiscate them and fine you in 100% of the value of these goods.
Late filing of your tax return – up to EUR 35
Late tax payment – 10 or 20% of the tax paid late + interest (currently about 0.02% per day)
Additional tax is assessed – 25/50% of such tax
Tax avoidance – criminal responsibility.
