PwC is responsive to the challenges faced by governments and their development partners.
Integrating our expertise in strategic change, process improvement and technology, we provide solutions to government, ministries, agencies and other institutions as they strive to improve delivery of services to the people.
In addition, governments and their development partners deploy our services to obtain assurance that resources are expended on intended purposes and for optimal value. Our focus is on building capacity through developing systems and processes and enhancing institutional management.
By working in partnership with our clients, we obtain a thorough understanding of local issues and then draw on best practice solutions from our global network of skills and capabilities to deal with those issues.
We support and work in partnership with governments in all the countries in Africa, international agencies and both local and international donor agencies.
Specific to donor aid, we know that support from the developed world is likely to remain critical to Uganda's economic, social and political development for the foreseeable future. This support primarily takes the form of direct aid (grant funds and goods and services) as well as concessionary loans from governments and financial institutions. Management of donor funded activities is either through host governments or Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
Our mission is to provide top quality technical expertise and manpower in support of interventions by International Lending Agencies, international donor agencies and local and international project implementing entities to realise social, economic and political development in our country.
We aim to achieve this by providing consistent top quality and efficiently co-ordinated multidisciplinary professional services to concerned international and local entities. We have provided professional services to organisations such as the World Bank, KfW bank, Global Fund, United Nations, European Union, the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), the Norwegian Agency for Development (NORAD); and governments such as the Ugandan Government, the British Government through DFID, and the United States Government through USAID.
