The project was part of another company initiative of the Integrated Planning Platform that has the goal of optimising ŠKODA AUTO’s processes and supporting IT solutions for strategic, operational, and financial planning activities.

PwC’s approach

The main goal of the product profitability project was to replace the manual or semi-automated calculation of product profitability based on MS Excel files, which had already reached it limit, with an automated product profitability calculation to make related processes more robust and efficient, outputs traceable and repeatable.

Project deliverables

Following phases of the project can be identified:

  1. Implementation of the automated profitability calculation of Base Projects
  2. Integration with other tools from the Integrated Planning Platform
  3. Continued development of other features / reports and post-implementation services
