PwC advised FootonVolt on the sale of Estonia’s first industrial solar park to KC Energy

PwC advised FootonVolt OÜ on the sale of a portfolio consisting of 13 solar parks (with a total capacity of 18 MW) to KC Energy OÜ. The transaction is noteworthy since FootonVolt built the first industrial solar park in Estonia.

KC Energy is a joint venture between Kaamos Energy and Combiwood Invest. The long-term goal of KC Energy and its subsidiaries is to bring new renewable energy capacity to the market in the form of solar, wind farms and storage and thus contribute to the green revolution. The main activity of KC Energy is the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects, including the production and sale of renewable energy. With this transaction, KC Energy's production portfolio increased to 70 MW.

PwC's transaction consulting department managed the sales process, including mapping of investors, preparation of sales materials and negotiations. PwC Estonian Deals team experts Raul Ruubel, Sass Karemäe, Anna Krumgolts, Alex Sander Sepp and Mari-Liis Kikas contributed to the transaction.
