PwC advised Zurich Insurance Group on the acquisition of AlphaChat

The international multi-line insurer Zurich Insurance Group has agreed to acquire Estonia-based company AlphaChat, which provides conversational artificial intelligence (AI) technology for customer service automation, to further enhance the Group’s digital capabilities.

AlphaChat is a company whose speech robot understands a person's natural language, identifies customers and offers personalized answers to their questions.

PwC Estonia supported Zurich Insurance Group by providing financial and tax due diligence of AlphaChat. 

The PwC team contributing to a successful completion of tax and financial due diligence included PwC Estonia’s transaction advisory experts Teet Tender, Raul Ruubel and Lisette Starostin and PwC Estonia’s tax experts Tanja Kriisa, Karel Romet Pedajas and Martin Tois.
