PwC helped close a major deal in the Estonian defense industry

The German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann will acquire 24.9% of Milrem Robotics, one of the flagships of the Estonian defense industry, which has now reached a strong wave of growth. As a result of the transaction, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann will become a financial investor and also a strategic investor in the company engaged in developing unmanned systems.

PwC provided Krauss-Maffei Wegmann with the service of financial, tax and legal due diligence. The PwC team contributing to the successful transaction consisted of Teet Tender, Raul Ruubel, Allar Karu, Lisette Starostin, Andrea Pärtelpoeg, Tanja Kriisa and Martin Tois.

In addition to conducting due diligence, the law firm PwC Legal assisted the client by advising and negotiating the entire transaction. The team consisted of Rutt Värk, Priit Lätt, Imbi Jürgen, Ingeri-Helena Kakko and Alesja Gorbunova.
