We advised UP Invest, an investment company and owner of Apollo Cinema, on acquiring the Forum Cinemas’ movie businesses in the Baltics. A contribution to the deal was given by business and tax consultants from PwC Estonia, PwC Latvia and PwC Lithuania, as they performed tax and financial due diligence of the Forum Cinemas’ movie businesses.
PwC’s tax department put together a collection of legislative acts in the framework of the e-Residency programme to help foreign investors to comply with both the tax laws of Estonia and those of their homeland.
