In 2023, PwC Latvia celebrated its 30th anniversary. For three decades we have been providing audit & business assurance, tax & legal, and deals & consulting services to improve the efficiency of governance in organisations, solve important problems in society, and help clients grow their business by creating added value. This period marks our maturity, stability and excellence. Over 30 years we have been present at historical events crucial to Latvia.
This is a time when we wish to look back at what we have achieved in Latvia. In 1993, Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand opened their offices in Riga, and after a merger (in 2002) they continued trading under the name of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Latvia). Over 30 years we have developed our lines of service relevant to business, built a strong, knowledgeable and experienced team, and expanded our business by launching one of the fastest growing law firms in Latvia – PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal (PwC Legal Latvia).

Since the very beginning, we have been involved in projects that are essential for growing Latvia’s economy and business. We have been working with government agencies and professional associations to drive the development of national legislation in key areas, and we have provided advice and assistance to local and international companies and other organisations in the private and the public sector.
Our client portfolio contains leading Latvian companies and ambitious startups in various industries, as well as central and local government companies and institutions. We are proud of what our clients have achieved and we are happy to be present on their road to success.

Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand merge globally to create PricewaterhouseCoopers. Coopers & Lybrand Latvia changes its name to PricewaterhouseCoopers SIA (PwC Latvia).

PwC Latvia begins to offer PwC’s Academy training courses to clients.

The merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand into PwC Latvia is completed. Our offices are at 19 Kr. Valdemara iela, Riga.

PwC Latvia launches MindLink.lv, the first tax e-consultant in Latvia and the Baltic States.

PwC Latvia becomes a member of the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia (FICIL)

PwC Latvia moves its offices to 21 Kr. Valdemara iela, Riga, and we are moving again to 2a Marijas iela, Riga in late 2023.
