Simon Flynn joined PwC Malta as a student in 1983 and graduated in Accountancy from the University of Malta in 1988. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and a registered auditor in Malta.
He was admitted to the firm’s partnership in January 1998 and currently holds the post of Assurance Leader at PwC Malta. Before being appointed Assurance Leader, he was responsible for Quality and Risk Management and still sits on the firm's risk management committee. He also has an oversight role in developing the firm's internal training programme. He currently sits on the firm’s Council and acts as the firm’s Finance Partner.
He has experience in leading various large audit assignments, including those of listed entities and large public Corporations across several industries. My audit portfolio, both as an engagement leader and as Quality Review Partner, includes clients in the hospitality, manufacturing, banking, insurance, gaming and real estate industries.
