Case studies

We carried out research to quantify the size of the Maltese sports equipment and apparel market by collecting and analysing information from various sources. This information was challenged and validated to provide the client with reliable figures. The research included changes in the market, a competitor analysis, and trends impacting the market.

The research was supplemented by an online survey that was distributed to the general public to understand consumers’ characteristics, needs, purchase behaviours, and preferred outlets.

PwC assisted a professional services firm in Malta with the development and roll out of a bespoke employee engagement survey. This involved; formulating people engagement metrics and drafting an engagement questionnaire, holding one workshop with the Company to agree on metrics and approval of questionnaire in line with organisational priorities, developing the survey on a digital tool, launching the survey and the development of a PowerBi dashboard followed by a presentation of the results.

PwC carried out a National research Study for bBrave, Malta’s first and only voluntary organisation focusing on anti-bullying. The research was commissioned with the aim to better understand the extent of workplace bullying in Malta. In order to obtain reliable results representative of the Maltese population, a stratified sample was drawn and was targeted on Social Media channels in order to reach the target 2,473 respondents.

The results were utilised to guide the development of anti-bullying policies, training and national awareness campaigns. The project also included 10 focus groups with 12 participants per group lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours to collect additional insights.
