The Global Payroll Platform (GPP) is PwC’s optimised operating model for payroll business outsourcing. We have built unparalleled expertise in payroll processing, using technology-powered, service-backed capabilities along with cloud-based solutions to help clients improve accuracy and efficiency, reduce costs and minimize risk.
PwC has developed a Workday Global Payroll Connector (GPP Connector) that provides a way to integrate Workday bi-directionally to any third party payroll application. It consists of Workday’s Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI) which support Workday (HCM) features and data models required by external payroll applications.
The GPP Connector enables organisations to integrate Workday with GPP using a pre-configured Workday integration. Workday and PwC worked together to identify the payroll requirements of the GPP Connector for each country and configure them in pre-built country specific connectors.
This allows customers to have unrivalled simplicity in importing the integration into their tenant and getting the GPP Connector operational with minimal configuration while achieving end-to-end connectivity and maximizing the return on investment on the adoption of the GPP Connector.
PwC provides detailed instructions on importing the GPP Connector, as well as extensive implementation and user guides that assist in the set up and proper use of the integration while bringing a flexible, responsive, and supportive implementation approach.
