Essentials of Sustainability

Julien is the Sustainability Leader for PwC Mauritius. He is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies for clients that align with their business goals and values, and identify opportunities to reduce their environmental impact, promote social responsibility, and drive long-term value for their stakeholders.

Anish leads the Sustainability services in PwC Mauritius with background and experience in the world of financial services. He is looking to amalgamate/ embed ESG and Sustainability driven frameworks into the clients’ overall Business Strategy, Operating Models, Data Insights and Technology/ Digital Enablement. His focus is in assisting the clients in their journey of ESG Reporting, embedding Climate Risk into overall ERM and adopting UNEP frameworks like PRI/ PRB/ PSI.

Nitin joined PwC’s Strategy, Risk and Sustainability Department in 2023 as a Senior Manager. He brings to the firm over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, particularly banking, and risk management areas. Nitin has a data centric career path resulting in good understanding of Finance Architecture, Management Reporting, Report Automation, Big Data Analytics and BI Solution implementation.

He leads Strategy, Risk and Sustainability projects for a range of clients in the financial services and manufacturing sectors.

Raj is an FCCA with some 19 years of professional experience with PwC including 2 years secondment to PwC South Africa. He has acquired a wide range of audit and accounting technical experience.

Raj also facilitates IFRS training internally in the firm and externally to clients based in Mauritius and in the region. Raj assists clients and audit teams in resolving complex accounting technical issues and in implementing new accounting standards.
