With a foundation in accounting, Kulawal embarked on her sustainability career right after graduating from Chulalongkorn University. Driven by a passion for sustainability, she took up German as a third language. She has over a decade of experience in offering diverse sustainability consulting services inGermany and Thailand. In 2012, while with a boutique sustainability consultancy in Stuttgart, she assisted several German companies, including BASF and Baden-Würtemberg Bank, in creating their sustainability reports and CSR communication plans. Since 2014, she has been aiding leading Thaicompanies in crafting their sustainability strategies, recently focusing on Net Zero strategies, developing responsible finance programs, managing climate-related risks for financial service providers, conducting environmental and human rights due diligence, and enhancing sustainability disclosures compliant withOne Report, GRI, and TCFD standards, as well as improving performance on sustainability indices likeTHSI, CDP, and DJSI. Beginning in 2021, she pursued a PhD in Sustainability Leadership and Reporting at JLU, Germany, and serves as a guest lecturer for The International Master’s Programme inSustainability in Business, learning much about global sustainable issues from international students from various regions such as the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa.
