You might have heard the government will impose a new law to collect land and building tax starting 1 January 2020. This new law will supersede the current building and land tax, and local maintenance tax, as these caused a material change in the tax base and rates. The signboard tax is another tax that business operators need to be aware of because it might affect their business operations in Thailand.
