Background:

Pimprapai currently serves as a Director of PwC's M&A Tax Group in Thailand with more than ten years of tax consulting experience.

Pimprapai joined PwC Thailand since 2009 and has involved in various tax compliance services before joining M&A Tax practice in 2014. Also, she was seconded to PwC Singapore office for six months in 2018.

She has been assisted a number of Thai and foreign investors to acquire investments in Thailand. She involved in performing tax due diligence on Thai targets in a variety of industries such as renewable energy sectors, manufacturing and services. On the other hand, she has also provided tax related supports to the Thai clients for outbound investment in overseas countries. This includes advising on appropriate tax efficient investment structures for out-bound/in-bound investments.

In addition, she has assisted in a number of projects on the business integration or group reorganisation for both listed and non-listed Thai company group. She has hand-on experience in performing preliminary assessment, detailed tax analysis and implementation assistance.

Areas of expertise:

• Tax due diligence and deal related services e.g., tax structuring, tax modelling review, and SPA advice.
• Tax structuring and advisory on business integration / group reorganisation.

Relevant Qualification: 

• Master in Finance from Macquarie University (Australia)
• Bachelor of Business Administration emphasis in Accounting and Finance with High Honors from Thammasat University (Thailand)
