Agile Learning Series

The Agile Learning Series program offers teams and organizations a comprehensive educational and certification program focused on agile methodologies, specifically on Scrum, Kanban and Servant Leadership frameworks. Participants of this program will acquire deep, comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for effective teamwork and agile project management thanks to interactive trainings based on best practices from practice.

 

Programme modules

Introduction to Agile: Interactive guide

This interactive workshop provides a deep understanding of the origins and principles of Agile, including the Agile Manifesto. Through exercises, discussions and simulations, participants will compare the basic principles of Agile with traditional project approaches.

The course covers the definition of agile development, the history of Agile, an explanation of the Agile Manifesto, methods such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean, and key roles such as Product Owner and Scrum Master. The course also clearly explains agile ceremonies and their contribution to team collaboration.

Implementing Scrum: Practical guide

The aim of this course is to provide practical knowledge and skills for the effective introduction and use of the Scrum methodology. Participants will learn about the history and principles of Scrum, the role of Product Owner, Scrum Master and development team and learn to work with key artifacts such as Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog.

The course includes detailed guides to Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum and Sprint Review, including simulations of these processes. Practical exercises and simulated projects will provide participants with real-world experience.

Implementing Kanban: Work visualisation

The aim of this course is to provide basic knowledge about the Kanban framework and its practical applications. Participants will learn the principles of visual workflow management and effective task management.

The course covers the origins and development of Kanban in an agile environment, basic principles such as work visualization, WIP limitation and continuous improvement. Participants will gain practical tools to introduce Kanban into work processes, create a visual Kanban board and effectively manage tasks, thus increasing the productivity of their team.

Agile Servant Leadership: Leader vs. manager

The aim of this course is to develop agile leaders who support, motivate and develop the individual skills of team members. Participants will learn approaches to leadership focused on team service, rather than mere management.

The course covers the definition of an agile leader and its impact on a team, the differences between a manager and a servant leader, connecting agile values with leadership principles and their practical application. Participants will get tools to support collaboration and innovation in a team.

Agile in Operations: Application of agile principles in operational teams

The aim of this course is to provide practical Agile tools and knowledge to teams by focusing on business operations: back office, HR, finance and more. Participants will learn to implement agile principles in daily work procedures, increase flexibility, efficiency and communication.

The course covers the application of Scrum and Kanban in operational teams, creating visual workflows, practical retrospectives and change management. Participants will gain tools to manage priorities and plan, leading to better operational excellence.

 

OKR Workshop: Set and achieve your strategic goals

The aim of this course is to familiarize participants with the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) methodology, which helps organizations clearly define and achieve strategic goals. Participants will learn how to implement OKR in their work processes and create an agile environment supporting fast and efficient results.

The course covers the definition of OKRs, techniques for setting clear goals, identifying measurable key results, and procedures for practical implementation of OKRs in teams and organizations, including measuring progress and addressing challenges.

Design Thinking Workshop: Innovate with a creative approach

The aim of the course is to familiarize participants with the Design Thinking methodology, which supports innovation and solving complex problems through a creative and user-oriented approach. Participants will learn to apply the principles of Design Thinking in their work.

The course covers the definition of Design Thinking and its benefits, techniques for developing empathy towards users, creative methods of generating ideas, creating and testing prototypes, and planning the implementation of solutions. Participants will acquire skills for conducting creative sessions and improving products or services.

Martin Kuchař is an experienced Agile Coach, Scrum Master and IT consultant with extensive experience in the field of agile methodologies.
