CAPM is a valuable and internationally recognised entry-level certification for project practitioners. Designed for those with little or no project experience, the CAPM demonstrates your understanding of the knowledge, terminology and processes of effective project management.

Course details

The course is designed as a four-day intensive training programme that focusses on improving your project management skills and effective preparation for the CAPM certification exam. The CAPM exam is designed as entry level for PMP certification.

Throughout the course, you will go through the revised and updated CAPM Learning Objectives, incorporating new and existing content, with special emphasis on agile/adaptive approaches as described in the PMBOK Guide.

Who is the course suitable for:
  • Individuals wishing to obtain internationally recognised certification demonstrating an understanding of the fundamental, best practice, and project management knowledge defined in the PMBOK,
  • Entry-level individuals wishing to enter the project management profession,
  • Individuals looking to advance their standing as project-management subject-matter experts in their organisations,
  • Individuals working in support of a project management office (PMO),
  • Project stakeholders intending to serve as a sponsor, facilitator, liaison, or coordinator,
  • Project managers desiring a professional certification, but lacking the experience requirements for the PMP certification,
  • Part-time project managers looking to formalise their project management skill-set and be recognised for their project management knowledge.

 

This course can be attended by anyone who is interested in improving knowledge and skills in project management.
However, applicants for CAPM certification must meet the following conditions:

  • A secondary degree (high school diploma or the global equivalent)

  • 23 hours of project management education by the time you sit for the exam.

Exam fee

Exam fee of USD 300 in not included in course price. Course price includes study materials.

After completing this course you will be ready to pass final exam. After passing the exam you receive internationally recognised certificate Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from Project Management Institute (PMI).

Robert Srnka is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is an internationally licensed trainer in PM. He is an experienced tutor with over 20 years of experience in managing a wide variety of projects including IT implementations, BPR and audits. He delivers professional and other management skills training in CEE and EU countries.
