Adapting to the new normal

Malta Annual Review 2020

Our people have always been at the heart of everything we do. This has been more important than ever over the past year. During these uncertain times, we had to respond quickly to the COVID-19 outbreak whilst being flexible and listening to our people’s concerns and questions.

What we’ve done

Remote working

Remote working
We organised ourselves very quickly to allow our people to work remotely. We’ve equipped them with the right technology in order to make this transition to home working as smooth as possible. The agility and flexibility of our people have also contributed to navigating this challenging period successfully.

Employee Assistance Programme
We continue to promote our Employee Assistance Programme. This enables our people to attend therapy sessions on a regular basis with qualified professionals should they feel that this will assist with their well-being. Staff wellbeing has always been at the forefront of our priorities, however, during these uncertain times, this has become more important than ever before.

Sessions for parents
A number of our people are parents, who have had the additional challenge of homeschooling whilst working from home. With this in mind, we have organised sessions for parents in order to provide them with tips on how to handle the situation as well as providing them with support on a day-to-day basis as required.

We organised our return to the office in a safe manner, ensuring that the health of both our people and our clients are preserved. We continue to maintain flexibility by allowing our people to continue to work from home if they feel more comfortable to do so.
