There are many challenges that come with governing a nation. Areas of complexity can range from developing smart cities and upskilling citizens to enhancing the country’s defense and security policies. Governments around the world all wrestle with similar issues. Learn more about how they’re responding by checking out our reports below - curated from PwC’s global network.
Threats such as the COVID-19 pandemic test the crisis responses of public institutions, businesses and citizens. When we look back, it will become clear what governments could have done better.
Overcoming a threat like COVID-19 requires the concerted effort of both the public and private sectors. Applying PwC’s Security Ecosystem Assessment Map (SEAM) framework, this report explores the interconnected relationships among key institutions that have a part to play in keeping citizens safe.
The SEAM framework can help identify gaps that can then be addressed to strengthen responses. It assigns a risk level to the interactions that institutions have with other institutions in the security ecosystem.
An appropriate response starts with understanding and identifying the points of connection between the individual entities in each of the relevant national security functions.
