PwC Thailand appoints Soo Hoo Khoon Yean as 
interim Chief Executive Officer
 

BANGKOK, 18 January 2024 – PwC Thailand has announced the appointment of Soo Hoo Khoon Yean as the interim Mekong Territory Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of PwC Thailand with immediate effect. The leadership change follows Chanchai Chaiprasit’s decision to step down from his role as Mekong Territory Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer for personal reasons, effective 15 January 2024.

Soo Hoo is currently serving as PwC Malaysia’s Managing Partner and the Territory Senior Partner of the PwC Malaysia-Vietnam (MYVN) firm, in addition to being the Chairman of PwC’s South East Asia Consulting practice.
