The internal auditor profession is focused on the future. As internal auditors increasingly become trusted advisors, they are motivated to expand their arsenal of skills: mastering and learning new technologies, implementing new tools and methods to effectively respond to changing business environments and risks.
Irina Blinova, PwC Academy Ukraine Leader presented the topic “Business and Internal Audit: Trends, Development Dynamics, Perspectives” at the international conference “Internal Audit and Control” that was held online as of Sept 7th.
Over 100 delegates from 10 countries discussed challenges and opportunities of the internal audit function and profession, including such topics as:
- Update on the Internal Audit Standards,
- Cybersecurity and key risks in 2023
- Business partnership as a new reality of Internal audit
- Internal audit strategy
- Audit of digital assets
- Using AI in the work of an internal auditor
- How to preserve and increase human capital in the digital era.
It was a great experience and a professional discussion contributing to the development of a professional network of the internal auditors within CEE.
