Steve Chia
People Leader, Partner, PwC Malaysia
Steve is PwC Malaysia’s People Leader and has comprehensive tax experience as a partner with PwC Malaysia's Tax practice.
As People Leader, he drives the people agenda for PwC Malaysia, and oversees the firm's people-related initiatives including our employer branding programmes in the market. He is passionate about coaching and mentoring and is a firm believer that learning is a lifelong process.
On the tax front, he has undertaken high value tax and business consulting projects for clients in various industries including sustainability development, property development and construction, real estate investments, logistics and ports, infrastructure, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, trading, as well as education.
Steve has worked on a variety of assignments involving restructuring of operations, tax efficient structuring for privatisation projects, review of corporate structures to improve international tax efficiencies, and cross-border transactions.
Steve is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom.
