flexPoints

One of the ways that we encourage in-the-moment appreciation among our people is through a real-time recognition programme called flexPoints, which runs on both a mobile app and website.

Launched in 2017, the programme provides a digital platform for our people to express their appreciation and/or recognise the contributions of their colleagues.

flexPoints allows Managers and above to recognise their people by rewarding points and badges based on their exemplary contribution. Our people can then redeem vouchers of their choice with the points awarded to them. Similarly, our people can appreciate their managers as well by awarding them badges, which are based on PwC Values.

Long service award

We continued to recognise our colleagues for their years of service and contribution to the Firm in FY21. As the annual dinner organised by the Kelab Sukan PwC (KSP) for all employees could not take place, an intimate virtual event was held to celebrate our 25 years Long Service Award recipients in 2020. This event was attended by all recipients and their close colleagues and friends in the firm, as well as their career coaches and leaders.

Beginning FY21, we also started recognising those who have reached 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service.

Care packages

Teams at PwC recognised the isolation and the lack of team connection during the long work-from-home period. Leaders and people champions organised care packages along the themes of wellbeing - healthy food boxes, tools for the home office, DIY kits to encourage our people to pick up new skills and even workshops to engage our people and to help them discover new hobbies. In a small way, these help our people connect, though virtually and get through the challenging moments. Where possible, we have purchased products which were locally sourced and supported budding social entrepreneurs.
