To solve important problems we need diverse talent. So at PwC, we employ people with a vast array of backgrounds and experiences – meaning they think differently from one another and apply varying approaches to problem-solving. And we’re committed to helping every one of them build a rewarding career and achieve their full potential.
We’re an organisation that leads with the heart and we prioritise our people. This is why we’re focused on fostering a culture of belonging and equity where a diverse community of solvers can thrive and feel like they truly belong. We do this by acting as a voice and an accelerator for Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) change in each of our member firms, across the PwC network, for our clients and in the wider societies in which we operate.
We are at our best when we bring together diverse experiences and perspectives. To leverage the benefits of our diverse community of solvers, we embrace and encourage differences and help our people actively develop the skills to work and lead inclusively. The breadth of our skills and abilities enable us to deliver unexpected insights and solve the most complex challenges facing business and society, all while building trust with our people, our clients, our stakeholders and our world.
Find out more about our Inclusion First strategy.
We adopt a ‘2+1’ minimum standard approach to tackling the many different dimensions of diversity. With offices in 152 countries and almost 328,000 people, of which 50% are women, we are among the leading professional services networks in the world. These demographics presented a clear proposition for us to identify gender and valuing differences as our two global priority diversity dimensions. Our focus is on creating strategies that focus on these dimensions of diversity, in addition to at least one further dimension of diversity, which is disability inclusion for PwC Singapore.
Following the launch of PwC’s Disability Inclusion strategy in October 2022, PwC Singapore has taken greater steps in fostering an inclusive environment where people with disabilities feel empowered to be themselves and have access to the support and adjustments they need to thrive.
We are working to drive action both internally and externally to enhance the lives of people living with disabilities and those who care for them.
As part of this commitment, we are a participating employer in SG Enable’s Open Door Programme to hire, train and integrate people with disabilities into our workforce. In addition, we have signed the President’s Challenge Enabling Employment Pledge, which is a national movement that advocates for employers to empower persons with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
