In the face of a rapidly changing climate, the urgency to transform our ambitious visions into tangible outcomes has never been greater. As the world gathers for COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, PwC Singapore is excited to announce our participation at the Singapore Pavilion. Aligned with this year’s Pavilion objective, we are bringing out subject matter specialists to catalyse the shift from visionary ideals to concrete actions, realising Singapore's shared climate vision together.
We look forward to engaging with global leaders and stakeholders to drive meaningful climate dialogue, focusing on accelerating decarbonisation efforts, fostering innovation within Singapore’s vibrant ecosystem, and integrating efforts to achieve our climate goals through ambitious implementation.
Hosted by PwC Singapore, this session will look at the sustainability reporting landscape with a focus on Asia Pacific. It will unpack how standards like the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) have progressed, and how companies in Asia are using disclosure to report and track progress on their sustainability goals. We will also delve into themes like data uncertainty, Scope 3 measurement, and perspective from financial institutions.
