We are for all

Our focus on inclusion unlocks the power and potential of a diverse community of solvers.

At PwC, our Inclusion First strategy is for our people, our clients and our communities.

We prioritise our people and foster a culture of belonging and equity, leading with empathy. Our commitment to Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) drives us to champion change across our organisation, acting as a voice and accelerator within PwC and in our communities.

Our global Inclusion First strategy is centred on:

  • Action. We build a culture of change.
  • Accountability. We hold our leaders and ourselves responsible for change.
  • Advocacy. We act as a voice for change, within PwC and beyond.

Through our strategy, we are focused on 5 key drivers for change: Inclusion First, Gender Equity, Disability Inclusion, LGBT+ Inclusion and Social Inclusion.

"Inclusion & Diversity is seen as fundamental and a reinforcing part in all PwC’s people and business activities. Each country pursues mutual global KPIs and long-term goals as well as additional indicators appropriate to that country's unique context."

Five drivers for change

We are actively advancing five global drivers for change. In each area, we define and implement strategies, identify key initiatives, collaborations, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and report our progress. Our member firms also contribute efforts to reinforce and expand these drivers at a territory level.

Inclusion First: Systems and Behaviours

Inclusion First: Systems and Behaviours

Our purpose-driven I&D strategy is built upon the foundation of inclusion first systems and behaviours.

  • Systems: We are expanding our development of inclusive processes, policies, interventions and systems that ensure equitable opportunities for all our people.
  • Behaviours: We are fostering a community of inclusive problem-solvers, valuing diversity and building trust for sustained outcomes.

Our work: Inclusive mindset elearn

The elearn is an important element of our PwC Inclusion First strategy to enable the New Equation. It is about showing empathy, appreciation, and respect for every individual’s unique lived experience. We recently organized the "Inclusive Mindset Challenge: Racing towards Inclusion and Diversity" to promote the inclusive mindset within our company.

Gender Equity

Our focused strategy is to help support balanced gender representation across all levels of our organisation and areas of our business. We prioritise supporting women in leadership roles and hold ourselves accountable through specific gender-focused KPIs.

Our work: Unconscious Bias Workshop (UB Workshop)

Unconscious biases affect us all, shaping our actions and impacting those around us. Despite our best intentions, these biases can lead to unintended results and misalignment among people. Therefore, in April 2024, PwC has organized two UB Workshop in Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi City to gain insight into possible blind spots, while discussing how to reduce any potential impact as a result of biases.
