In a recent interview with AlArabiya, Yahya Anouti, PwC Middle East’s Sustainability Leader, highlighted that the real estate and infrastructure sectors are responsible for 40% of global carbon emissions, according to the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, with $2 trillion to be invested in real estate and infrastructure projects across the Gulf in the next decade, as per Strategy&’s report.
