Allen Ho
Partner and National Leader, Financial Risk Management, PwC Canada
Allen Ho is a partner in the Financial Risk Management group of the Advisory Services practice at PwC Canada, working in the Toronto office. He specializes in providing accounting and auditing services on complex accounting standards on financial instruments and structured transactions under Canadian, US and international GAAP. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked with all Schedule I banks in Canada and other financial institutions in Canada and US.
Allen has led projects on hedge accounting, variable interest entities and is now leading a project on the implementation of new Financial Instruments standards in Canada. He has also provided accounting advice on asset securitization and structured transactions and has performed comprehensive reviews in risk, liability and cash management.
Allen earned a BSc degree in Computer Science (1992) and a MBA degree (1994), both from the University of Toronto. He obtained a CA designation in 1997 and became a CFA in 2000.
