Arda is a Managing Director in PwC’s utilities practice with over 20 years of industry leadership experience. He is passionate about growth and working collaboratively with utilities to help them transform towards a commercial minded, customer centric organization and setting up unregulated businesses.

Arda has held leadership positions primarily in the utilities sector, with additional experience in the beverages and coffee retail industries. Notably, before joining PwC, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of a major European utility company. In this role, he successfully strategized and managed the transformation of nine separate gas distribution utilities into a best-in-class dual-fuel, multi-business utility. This included several unregulated businesses such as gas/power trading, renewables, and in-home services, serving over 2 million customers. During his 13 years in the utilities industry, Arda consistently achieved double-digit growth annually. Additionally, he has extensive experience working and collaborating with many utilities across Europe and the Middle East.

Currently at PwC, Arda collaborates with utilities across Canada, focusing on growth strategies, organizational design, and digital transformation programs.

He loves to spend his time travelling and skiing with his family. Once a competitive player, Arda still enjoys his 40 years of passion of playing tennis and is constantly trying to improve his golf.
