Arun has been part of PwC for the last 30 years working at our offices in New Delhi, Houston, San Francisco, Calgary, Edmonton and now in Toronto.
He is our national leader for Transformation Risk and Advisory practice with a strong background in large transformation programs, consulting services, implementation of IT systems and risk management practices. He has delivered advisory services to many different industries including Public Sector, Healthcare, Banks, Insurance, Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Post Secondary Institutions.
Arun specializes in transformation strategy, systems implementations, data management, benefits realization, change management, risk advisory, and business process improvements. He has assisted clients going through large-scale transformations ($300 million - $5 billion) in a risk advisory or transformation advisory capacity. This includes both projects with an Agile focus and those delivered leveraging Waterfall or a Hybrid methodology. In doing this work, Arun has helped clients undertake both back-office transformations (Oracle, SAP S/4, Dynamics 365, finance function transformations and more) as well as front office transformations (customer care and billing, transportation and logistics, manufacturing plant, clinical information systems, student registration and billing, and more). He has also led strategy projects aimed at organization restructuring and cost reductions with a focus on FTE optimization within an organization.
In his current role, Arun works with our clients’ boards supporting them as an advisor on transformation and supporting them in a better understanding of their roles and key risks within the transformation program. He also works closely as a senior advisor to our clients’ leadership helping them think through their transformation outcomes and make the right key decisions.
Arun’s clients value the depth of experience he brings to his engagements and his ability to navigate highly regulated industries. He is passionate about building teams, creating positive energy within his teams and creating an environment that fosters teamwork.
At a community level, Arun is passionate about the need to drive better learning around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics with our current generation. He is a prior Board member of TELUS Spark Science Centre in Calgary and of Homeward Trust Edmonton.
In his spare time Arun enjoys golfing & skydiving, finding them to be a calming influence in comparison to his busy workdays.
