Brooke Ko

Brooke leads the BC Mining Tax practise and has extensive experience helping her clients manage and improve their tax function from process and technology through to planning, compliance, and audit defense. Brooke works primarily with companies in the mining sector, working with clients whose focus ranges from grass-roots exploration to major producing companies. Working with other trusted business advisors in Canada and globally, it is PwC’s priority to deliver a high quality experience backed by deep technical and industry knowledge, particularly with respect to ESG and taxes.
Brooke is passionate about both ESG and Inclusion & Diversity especially as they intersect with each other and tax strategy and policy. She leads ESG for the Canadian tax practise and enjoys sharing with her clients ideas, best practises and strategies to achieve their goals.
Brooke is also the Treasurer of the Immigration Employment Council of BC, an organisation that strives to quickly and successfully integrate immigrants into the labour market in BC.
