Claudio Filippone

Claudio Filippone is a partner in the Consulting and Deals group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Montréal office.
He is a member of the firm’s Corporate Advisory and Restructuring team. He has acquired extensive experience in several different business areas, including retail, forestry, transportation, aviation and airline, high-tech and biotech industries.
Claudio has also gained extensive experience in corporate advisory and restructuring, including financial modelling in a wide range of industries, most notably retail and distribution and commercial airline and aviation.
With over 25 years of experience, Claudio has advised senior executives, boards of directors, lenders and other key stakeholders on various types of business opportunities and challenges. His expertise includes helping stakeholders build business and financial models as well as develop and execute turnaround plans, in addition to assisting in and leading various informal and court supervised sale processes.
Throughout his career, Claudio has led numerous mandates, including formal reorganizations, pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA), as bankruptcy trustee and trustee under notice of intention to make a proposal. He has also acted as Court Appointed Monitor under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA).
Claudio holds a BComm from the John Molson School of Business of Concordia University. He obtained his chartered accountant designation (CPA) in 1997. He is a trustee and a Canadian Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP).
He is the past president of the Turnaround Management Association, Montréal chapter.
