Edgar Barbosa leads PwC’s Financial Services Consulting practice in Canada. He also leads the firm’s Payments and Open Banking efforts. He brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry focused extensively on helping his clients modernize their payments ecosystems.
Edgar has led large payments transformation initiatives for many clients in Canada and the US including modernization of enterprise payments and card processing platforms, enterprise payments strategy and vendor selection, operating model design, implementation of automated credit decisioning tools and product design/strategy. Edgar also held executive roles at large banks with accountability for Cards, Lending and Retail Banking Transformation.
