Éric Labelle is a partner and Tax leader for the Greater Montreal region at PwC Canada. Specializing in international tax, he helps businesses to globalize their operations, in particular through mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Labelle joined PwC in November 2014, having previously worked for the international tax department of a major professional services firm for 20 years and for Quebec's revenue department.

Throughout his career, Mr. Labelle has acquired in-depth knowledge of issues affecting small and large-sized Canadian businesses of all sectors seeking to set up foreign operations or to consolidate their expansion outside of Canada. His tax advice is designed to help clients launch or consolidate their foreign operations. He helps to develop and implement financing, acquisition and reorganization structures for their foreign subsidiaries, assists businesses with their initial phase of operations in Canada and guides them in their foreign acquisitions.

A lawyer by training, Mr. Labelle holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA), in addition to the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF), on whose board he has served for several years. Noted for his ability to explain complex issues, he is regularly asked to speak at events, particularly those of the APFF, in order to share his international tax knowledge.
