Mario is a member of PwC Canada's Quebec and Eastern Canada leadership team. He is notably responsible for the alumni and retired partners program for the region. He is also the Canadian leader in aerospace and defence. With over 25 years of experience as a preferred business advisor, he has assisted numerous public and private companies, including some of the firm's most important clients, in accounting, internal control, mergers and acquisitions, taxation and governance.

Mario has led several audit missions for major international companies. He has extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as generally accepted accounting principles in Canada and the United States applicable to public and private companies. He has also participated in a large number of missions related to the implementation of the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in the United States or its Canadian counterpart, Regulation 52-109, mergers and acquisitions missions as well as debt or capital market financing.

He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a graduate diploma specializing in public accounting from HEC Montréal. He obtained the title of chartered professional accountant in 2001.

Committed to giving back to the community, Mario has been involved for more than 10 years with the social integration company Le Boulot vers…, a non-profit organization located in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district that promotes the social integration of young people aged 16 to 25. He was successively treasurer and chairman of the board of directors of this organization. He is now involved in minor baseball on the regional and provincial scene.
