Michael Kamel is a partner in the Deals practice of PwC’s Montreal office. He specializes in business and deal strategy in the Value Creation practice. 

Michael Kamel joined PwC in 2013. His experience encompasses various areas of the industry, including industrial products, aeronautics as well as information and communications technology (ICT).

Michael Kamel provides executives with guidance and support to help them better understand their markets, develop strategic plans and business models, and transform their businesses through stronger organizational capabilities and strategic repositioning. In the course of his career, he has worked with officers and senior executives of businesses in Canada, the United States, the Middle East, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Michael has a master’s degree and a doctorate in strategic management of innovation from Université de Montréal, École Polytechnique. He teaches strategic management at McGill University and has given courses in innovation strategy at Université de Montréal. Michael also has PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute. He is involved in various organizations related to project management and quality standards. From 2008 to 2012, he led the Canadian committee charged with defining and validating ISO 21500, the project management standard. From 2008 to 2010, he was Chairman of the board of directors of PMI’s Montreal section.

Michael Kamel serves on the board of directors of HPIC, a humanitarian action and international development organization active in medical philanthropy. He is also a member of World Vision Canada, an international solidarity organization that fights all forms of poverty and injustice.
