As a Partner in PwC Canada’s Value Creation practice, Mike supports his private equity clients and their portfolio companies in identifying and implementing value creation opportunities across the deals lifecycle.
Leveraging his experience in analytics, financial modelling and business valuations, he assists his clients in identifying the core value creation levers of their business and incorporates internal/external datasets combined with analytics and financial modelling techniques to identify opportunities to increase cash flows and business value. To support the prioritization, execution and realization of these value creation opportunities, he leverages his PwC colleagues who have expertise in areas such as operations, strategy and tax.
Mike has over 18 years of experience with PwC, initially joining our Canadian Assurance practice in 2004 before joining our Valuations practice in 2007 in the London, UK office. He returned to PwC Canada in 2011 joining our Deals team, where he was responsible for growing and subsequently leading PwC’s Deals Modelling Group and co-leading our Deals Analytics Group; two roles he continues to maintain.
In addition to being a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Mike also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designations.
