Mikaela is a member of the ESG Advisory & Strategy practice for PwC Canada where she focuses on helping companies and investors define their sustainability strategies and drive business transformation to minimize risk, capitalize on opportunities, and improve performance.

Mikaela has spent her career at the nexus of energy, sustainability, finance, and geopolitical risk. She has extensive experience advising a global network of investors and companies across sectors regarding their energy transition strategies in order to maximize their long-term resilience and contribute to positive societal change. From both Canada and abroad, Mikaela has extensive experience advising senior members of government and executives in the private sector.

Mikaela earned a Master of Public Policy in energy and environment from the University of Calgary and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa with an Honors Bachelor's in International Development and Globalization.

Mikaela has held the Atlantic Council’s Women Leaders in Energy Fellowship and is currently a non-resident Senior Associate as a part of the Energy Security and Climate Change program with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC.
