Mikaela McQuade is a Deals Partner who helps lead the national Economics and Policy practice for PwC Canada. In this role, she leverages her private and public sector experience to help clients navigate the increasingly unpredictable global policy and investment environment. She specializes in strategic tools such as scenario planning and macro diligence to leverage in-depth policy, economics, and geopolitical insights directly into decision-making.

Mikaela has spent her career working across sectors at the nexus of energy, sustainability, finance, policy, and geopolitical risk. She has a breadth of experience advising a global network of investors, companies, and governments across sectors regarding their strategies to maximize their impact and long-term resilience. From both Canada and abroad, Mikaela has extensive experience advising senior members of government and executives in the private sector.

Mikaela earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa with an Honors Bachelor's in International Development and Globalization. She has held the Atlantic Council’s Women Leaders in Energy Fellowship and is currently a non-resident Senior Associate as a part of the Energy Security and Climate Change program with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC.
