Miriam Pozza is Deals partner and leads the ESG Deals practice across Canada and globally. She also leads the Private Equity teams in Quebec. Miriam has over 30 years advising clients on all aspects of the acquisition process, from the initial analysis of financial and ESG, operational performance of a company, to leading the deals process and closing of the transaction. Her clientele includes both public and private companies as well as Canadian pension funds and US equity funds.
Miriam's role as ESG Leader is to ensure that ESG factors are incorporated in investment decisions to determine risks and opportunities to enhance risk adjusted returns, assess impact on cash flows and through value creation improve the long-term financial and non-financial outcomes of our clients’ acquisitions and capital investments.

Miriam is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. She also completed her MBA at the Manchester Business School.
Miriam is a member of the Board of Directors of PwC Canada, Scale AI, M&A Club and CTS Santé. Until recently, she was also a Board member and Treasurer of the Women’s Y and the Association of Québec Women in Finance.
During her career, Miriam received several awards, namely: a Top 100 Most Powerful Women awarded by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN); Finalist for the Leadership Award from the Quebec Women in Finance Association (AFFQ) and receiving a Recognition Award for years of service from the AFFQ. These awards reflect Miriam’s dedication to excellence and passion for inspiring the development and advancement of women in professional services. In 2021, she earned the prestigious title of Fellow for her contribution to the CPA profession.
